The IMSL (Intelligent Mobile Systems Lab) specializes in the development of intelligent mobile robot platforms. As part of its research projects, the lab examines robot systems from a wide variety of industries (e.g., logistics and emergency response). Many of these systems are custom-built with a wide variety of drive, sensor, and actuator configurations, which perform automated tasks in their intended field of application. In addition, these systems are also used in hands-on teaching.
