OmniMan ist der omnidirektionale mobile Manipulator des IMSL. Er besteht aus einer mobilen Roboter-Basis und einem Roboterarm.

Entstehung
OmniMan ist im Projekt OmniMan – Systemarchitektur für einen mobilen omnidirektionalen Manipulator entstanden und auch in weiteren Projekt wie z.B. IMeRo – Individuelle Mensch-Roboter-Kooperation für die Arbeitswelt im demografischen Wandel eingesetzt und erweitert worden. Neben den Arbeiten in den Forschungsprojekten kommt Omni auch in Seminar- und Abschlussarbeiten der Studierenden zum Einsatz und wird so um neue Sensoren und Aktoren erweitert.
